A Space to Find Yourself Again

Schedule a free 15-minute call to explore whether therapy—and working together—might help you feel more grounded, clear, and connected to yourself.

Individual therapy is a dedicated space for self-discovery. It offers a safe space for you to dive into your thoughts and feelings, helping you recognize the emotional patterns that might be holding you back. Many of us carry beliefs shaped by our past experiences, and therapy gives you the chance to see how these influences impact your life today.

I use a blend of emotion-focused, somatic, and insight-driven approaches to help guide this exploration. Emotion-focused techniques allow us to really connect with and understand your feelings. Somatic approaches emphasize the mind-body connection, helping you tune into physical sensations that often reveal deeper emotions. Lastly, insight-driven methods dig into the root causes of your thoughts and behaviors, bringing clarity to your experiences.

Together, we’ll work on processing emotions in healthier ways, which can help reduce anxiety and create a more balanced emotional state. You’ll also learn new coping strategies that empower you to face challenges with greater confidence. Ultimately, therapy is about getting to know yourself better and fostering self-respect and compassion. It’s not about striving for perfection but embracing your authentic self and finding clarity in your experiences. This journey can lead to meaningful change, allowing you to live with a sense of freedom and steadiness.

Common Questions

Is individual therapy right for me?

If you're wondering whether therapy could help, it probably can. You don't need to be in crisis—many of my clients are doing well overall but want to work on specific areas or understand themselves better.

What will we talk about in sessions?

We'll focus on whatever feels most important to you—current challenges, relationships, family history, work stress, or patterns you want to change. While you largely set the agenda, I'll help connect themes across sessions and ensure we're using our time productively. I won't push you into topics that feel too uncomfortable, but I will gently guide us toward deeper exploration when I sense you're ready.

How often should I come to therapy?

I recommend weekly sessions because consistent, regular meetings create the best conditions for deeper exploration and lasting change. When sessions are sporadic, we often spend time catching up rather than building on previous work. Weekly sessions allow us to maintain momentum and dive into patterns and insights as they develop. We can always adjust if your schedule requires it, but I find weekly sessions give therapy the best chance to be truly transformative.

What if I don't know what to say or where to start?

This is completely normal, especially in the beginning. I'll help guide the conversation and ask questions to help you explore what's on your mind. There's no pressure to have everything figured out.

How will I know if therapy is working?

You might notice changes in how you handle difficult situations, how you feel about yourself, or how your relationships improve. Some changes are gradual, while others might feel more immediate. We'll check in regularly about your progress.

If you think individual therapy might be helpful, schedule a consultation to see if we're a good fit to work together.
